I will value your collection in front of you. There is no need to leave it with me.

I am based in North Essex near Braintree and usually see clients at my home office, although I am happy to travel to view large collections at your home.
Regardless of size I am interested in collections from £100 upwards. Payment is immediate on agreement of sale.
Valuations
Rob Myers offers a free, no obligation, valuation service. If you have a stamp or coin collection you want to sell,
simply get in touch using the contact form. Please provide as much information as possible and some photos of the best items would be very useful to give us an idea what you have.
If we feel the collection is likely to be worth more than £100 we will make an appointment with you to view the collection while you wait. You can come to our office near Braintree,
or if the collection is too large or bulky, we can visit you if you prefer.
Sadly we regret we will not value lots likely to be worth less than £100 which are best passed down to friends and family.
There is absolutely no need to leave the collection with us, the valuation will be conducted in front of you
and there is no obligation to accept our offer.
However we do buy around 70% of what is offered to us and payment is immediate by bank transfer.

Specialised philatelic properties of any country from Penny Blacks onwards.
Also Stamp Investment portfolios.

Coins of Great Britain and Worldwide especially unused currency and banknotes.

Gold coins including Sovereigns.

Silver coins including proof boxed sets and pre-1947 issues.

Medals and Militaria especially Medal groups from WW1.

About Me
I started collecting stamps and coins as a kid in 1975, then started a career in 1983 working for a major dealer in London, eventually running several dealing businesses and a public auction house.
​
I understand the pitfalls when you sell to a dealer or though an auction. Auctions for example can take up to 40% in commission and buyers premiums, can take months for the money to come through and leave you with unwanted unsold lots.
In my case I will buy nearly everything if it has a value of £100 or more. You have no obligation to accept, but my offer will be realistic and I buy around 70% of the collections offered to me with instant payment.
